It's a Kaiserschmarren kinda day!

Jacob on his way to school.  Despite his appearance he was actually happy to be going.

But his mood made a sharp turn when Lea Maria asked if she could walk with us.

I couldn't keep up with them as they ran into the school.

I've become fascinated with Forsythia you might say I have an Forsythia  Fixation.

I'm also intrigued with the linens out the window.  I fear they would just collect more pollen to attack me in the night.
Our lovely and talented Hannah Burger made Kaiserschmarren this evening all by herself!  YUMMMM!!

It required a lot of eggs, flour, a little sugar and some other stuff that made it taste really good.

She poured it into a buttered pan over med. heat and waited  that's the hard part.  I wanted to flip it before it was ready, but Hannah had the patience and it cooked perfectly.

Finally when its done enough and only an expert knows when its done enough, you sort of chop it up and cook it some more.

And finally you get to eat it with apple sauce or plum sauce (Zwetschkenroster_ and you thank Hannah from the bottom of your heart for such a great meal.
