It's a beautiful Saturday!

It is so pretty today that we thought we would take a walk into town for lunch and a little light shopping.

First stop the Korn Messer.  A great little spot in Bregenz.  Jacob had a couple of weiss wurst and a pretzel.  Hannah and I opted for a salad and white asparagus pasta.  White asparagus  is a seasonal thing and is highly acclaimed.  Personally I just as soon eat wall paper paste.

So this is the asparagus thing and it seems to have a little of the preferred green asparagus in it.

Hannah

After lunch desert will be at my favorite coffee shop, I'd tell  you the name but can't spell it or pronounce it.

We walk home a new way for me.

Another view of what I told you in a previous post was St. Martin's Turm, but guess what Hannah just told me it's really the hotel in the old section of town.

Hannah on the way home.

Oh goodness!  I've figured out how to incorporate one fixation with another fixation.  Hannah and forsythia.

And Jacob in forsythia.

A house in danger of being consumed by forsythia.

Our Church!  Notice the forsythia?

Holy Forsythia!

Hannah and I  are going to make a cake.  Hannah has found a great recipe.

Gema attaching the folding in part.

I think she's gone around the bend.

This is what Jacob looks like with his helmet on.  I noticed he was riding without and mentioned I thought he looked really odd without something on his head.  He remedied it quickly.  One should always ride with a little head gear.

Ta Da!

Our cake has great appeal

Poor Lea Maria scraped her arm while trying to climb over a brick wall to get into her uncle Martin's yard.  Gates are so easy.
