Neu Amerika and Gema Drives!

Today is another landmark day.  I have to take David to music IN THE CAR then out to his soccer practice!  Yikes!  Driving in Bregenz is  just like McKinney driving except you really have to watch out for foreign objects like pedestrians, cyclists and zebra stripes.

First thing this morning I made my daily trip to the grocery.   I thought I would show you how these crafty people keep all of their shopping carts in neat rows.  Unlike in McKinney where carts go willy nilley around the parking lot bumping into cars and creating mayhem.  Here you put a euro in a slot in the front of the basket and when you finish shopping you have to put the cart back in its neat little row in order to get your $ back.  And and let me tell you a euro is worth 1.42 US.

Next event of the day is David's piano class.  Its in a really great old building with creaky stairs.

David generally likes piano he says it's good for him.

This is David Ballot David's music teacher.  He is from Barcelona and a real football fan.  David and David talk more about football  than they do music.

Next stop is Neu Amerika Field for some Soccer training.  Here Jacob has found a friend for a little pick up game.  I love that you can see the Alps in the background.

David is kicking the ball around waiting for the rest of his team.

  1. For some people in McKinney that Euro deal in the shopping cart would be considered rent.

Not that David needs it but chicks love guys who play the piano.
